RS485 port
Use a Custom Crimped RS485 cable plugged into the RJ45 port labelled MODBUS on the inverter's communication board. The cable for this unit is crimped using the pinout below:

If you buy any random USB RS485 cable on Amazon, Ebay, Takealot, etc. which doesn't specifically state that it supports the inverter, it may not work. You can read more about the communication chips we recommend using here.
Steps in SolarAssistant
On the configuration page, select "CHISAGE ESS" as your inverter model.
Select the USB port where you have the inverter connected. There will typically be one option.
Click connect:
Parallel installations
With these inverters you only need to connect one cable to the master inverter to read the entire bank. You do not need a cable for each inverter. The master is the inverter with its inverter address ("InvAddr") set to 1.
