WiFi dongle
We support Victron GX inverters or the the Cerbo GX module wirelessly. You will need to get VRM setup and have a gateway setup before we can connect to the system. There can be multiple gateway and VE.bus connections for multiple setups, but you should be able to get the data for an entire system via a single gateway connection. Please note: We do not support battery and Solar Charger MPPT devices at this time, but it is being investigated for future release.
First, you will need access to the remote console via VRM or the mobile app. From here, open the settings tab in the remote console.

From here, open services and enable the Modbus TCP setting:
You will also be able to see any error logs during on this page should you have any connection issues.
On the SolarAssistant configuration page, select "Victron" inverter and then "Configure network connections".
Then, open the Configure network connections page.

Once on that page, you should see a scan button. This will scan the connected network for Victron gateways.

Note: If you are not finding the gateway, check that it is using an IP address within the range shown, and there is a network log on the right-hand side to help with diagnosis. You can referance this with the Victron logs mentioned before.
Once you have the gatway added to the list, save and highlight the device on the configuration tab, then click connect:
