Remotely monitor and administer your site via web or our mobile app. All functionality is available via web and mobile as we use our own app. We do not use Emoncms.

Multi-site access with a single login

Via the SolarAssistant platform you can get a list of all your sites and access them with a single login. A must have for solar installers.

User administration

You can invite new users to your sites which will send them a welcome email that prompts them to set a password. Password resets are self-service via email.

Parallel support

Via a single cable, SolarAssistant can read all parallel connected inverters. Some metrics such as inverter temperature, bus voltage and MPPT2 (RCT Axpert Max only) can only be read from the inverter that is directly connected. If you want to read these metrics from all inverters, then connect each inverter via it's own USB cable.

Why would you want to connect your BMS to SolarAssistant?

Only the latest RCT inverters can read the battery state of charge from the battery directly. If you have one of these inverters, SolarAssistant will read the battery state of charge directly from the inverter.

In all other cases, you want SolarAssistant to read data directly from the battery via a dedicated USB to RS232/RS485 cable to enable:

  • Accurate reporting of the battery state of charge, temperature, capacity, cell voltages, etc.
  • Power management based on the true battery state of charge.
